Bitva na Bílé hoře 2025 – history comes alive

On September 20-21, 2025, Bílá Hora Prague will become a living battlefield. Drums will sound, cannons will blast, and soldiers in full armour will march across the historic plain.

What was the Battle of White Mountain?

The Battle of White Mountain transpired on November 8, 1620, during the early stages of the Thirty Years’ War. It was a pivotal clash between the Protestant Bohemian estates and the Catholic forces of the Habsburg Empire. The Bohemian insurgents suffered a catastrophic loss in the combat, which lasted only around two hours.

  • The end of the Bohemian Revolt.
  • The beginning of forcible re-Catholicization in the Czech territories
